Reports
Invoke writes the query, formats the result and produces a report you can share.

Dashboards
It wires up the data source, lays out the charts and publishes a live, auto-refreshing board.

Applications

What it hands you
A real artifact, on the real platform
Invoke does not build in a sandbox of its own. A dashboard it publishes is an ordinary DataMagik dashboard — it opens in the Dashboard Designer, it obeys the same refresh interval and permission settings, and you can edit it by hand afterwards.
The same is true of an application: what Invoke produces is a normal application, editable in the Application Designer, versioned like any other, and runnable on the web, inside Plex and on mobile.
That matters because it means Invoke is a faster way onto the platform, not a separate one you have to leave when the generated version stops being enough.

DataMagik sells the Dashboard Designer and the Application Designer separately, and Invoke builds both. They are not competing answers — they are different starting points for the same artifacts.
